The Story Behind Everything
My dad built me a stage when I was little. It came with a karaoke machine, two microphones, and the best songs for a 6-year-old to scream into them — High School Musical, obviously. Something in me knew I was supposed to be on a stage. I just had no idea what that would look like, because my face turned bright red at the very idea of it.
What I actually found was that I loved walking alongside people — sitting in their stories, asking the questions no one else was asking. People started coming to me for advice, and that's where I grew the most: I realized that if I was going to tell someone how to live, I had to be willing to live it myself first.
So I went on a quest to learn everything I could. For years now, you can find me with my nose in a book, sitting across from wiser people, and pushing what I believe until it turns into something I actually do.
What I found was my love for impacting people — whether that's through podcasting, speaking, preaching, writing, or just conversation. Turns out I was meant for the stage after all — just not High School Musical this time. So I started Lemons because I needed it. And I think you do too.
